Just another day.
Up and showered this morning, and then sticked it downstairs for 8:15am.
I am preparing for tomorrows jaunt to the hospital. Yesterday afternoon, I was called with an appointment to be at the “Fracture Clinic” at 9:05am on Wednesday. I am not 100% sure what they are going to do, but, they might give me an indication as to how long I will need for recovery.
My right ankle has swollen a bit, so I did not put my trainer on that foot this morning. I am putting it up a bit during the day, and moving it around to try and get some circulation round it. I have not done anything really today, just sat around and looking at the internet. I did stick upstairs for the first time. I was a bit cold, so I sticked my way up the stairs to get a top, and then sticked back down again. It took about 10 minutes for the whole trip. But quicker than arseing it up stairs.
Mum and Dad go walking on Wednesdays, and where they go, there are mobility scooters to borrow. As it is a council run thing, they are free. Mum has booked one for tomorrow at 11am, so after my hospital trip, I can tear up a peaceful walk with my 4 wheeled speed scooter!
This afternoon, Mum and Dad went to the field to plant some trees that Dave Wilson has given them. They did tell me what they were, but I can only remember Horse Chestnut.
