Italian GP + Update

I have added another of my weight charts to show the relative qualifying performances of the F1 drivers for tomorrows race. From the looks of the weights, Hamilton, Sutil and Raikkonen have all gone for the glory of Pole Position. While that might be good for Saturday, when you look at the weights of the other drivers, you can see that only these 3 will be on 2 stop strategies.

As an update on my health, I went to Physiotherapy on Monday, and the Physiotherapist checked out my range of movement, my balance, my gait with and without a crutch (yes, singular). He also measured the circumference of my thigh to gauge to what extent I had lost muscle. My right leg was 2cm (3/4″) smaller than my left. He has given me a rubber thing to help strengthen my muscles. All this week, I have been wearing my ankle weights to work. On Friday, I did not use my crutch in the day, only to walk from the car to the office and back. Friday evening, I walked to the pub, and did not use my crutch. When I got there, and I was stood up, my right leg was shaking. I had obviously pushed a bit too hard on it. It still works, so no harm done…
