I got back from work at 5:45pm, and got changed. Gina picked me up at 5:55pm, and we went off to the Thai Elephant in Warwick for a meal. It is Danny’s birthday on Friday, and his mum came along, as well as a friend of Gina’s.

The meal was good. We chose a banquet, and so got mixed starters, various main courses, a desert and coffee for the price. There was a special offer on, and all prices were 35% off. Not too bad. After the desert, they brought out a cake that Gina had taken up yesterday, and we all sang “Happy Birthday” to Danny. It just means that we can embarrass him on Friday as well.

I then threw some money at the table and sticked it all the way to the Kozi bar in time to get a seat and a Guiness before the quiz started. We had two teams as there is a maximum team size of 6, and there was 7 of us. It was Boys V Girls. We came second in the quiz with 61 points. The Girls team got 53(?). The winners got 63. So close again.

No work tomorrow, as I am going to the hospital.
