I was up and breakfasted ready to watch the final practice for the GP today. 10:00am until 11:00am on the red button. I watched it with great interest, and based on that, I changed my Fantasy Formula One team to reflect my thoughts on how the grid would line up.

I realise that I have not actually put anything in about my recovery for a while. The problem that I have is that every day is very much like the day before. There are improvements, but comparing day to day like I do, gives very little idea of how I am progressing.

Well, as the title says, it was 5 weeks ago today that I fell in the shower and broke my leg. As a celebration, I got up late.
I did pretty much nothing again this morning, however, there was a bonus with the new TV. By pushing the red button at 10am, I was able to watch the first practice of the British Grand Prix. Dad had gone out to get some clothes from Heaphies in Warwick, and came back around lunchtime. Mum then suggested that we go out for lunch to a pub in Halford.

Late up this morning. I had nothing planned for today, so there was no rush to get up. Breakfast was the usual Weetabix and milk.

I woke up and read my work emails. JJ had replied to an email that I had written. I called him after breakfast, and he said that he had replied to China, and was waiting for a response.

I was up and breakfasted by 9:45am this morning. I did the difficult Sudoku in the paper, and was ready to leave at 10:15am. Mum was ready as well (luckily, I was sat down at the time).

After the exercise I got yesterday at the field, today has been a relaxing day. Up and breakfasted by 10:10am.
I then updated my laptop to Vista SP2. This is hopefully a cure for my laptop occasionally saying that any memory stick that I put into it is “Unrecognized” (Curse those butchers of English). After a while, it sprang back to life again, and on entering Windows, nothing appeared different. I can only hope that a lot of things were done under the bonnet. However, I need to keep using my memory sticks to check that it has cured the problem. I gave it a try out by skyping Ma Yan, and nothing untoward happened, so fingers crossed.

A lazy morning, with me getting up lateish, and getting down for breakfast at 10:00am. I had a couple of weetabix, a glass of milk, and a banana and strawberry smoothie. I skyped Ma Yan, and at 10:55am Dad went off to take Gina and Danny to Birmingham Airport for their week long break to Tunisia.

As I was in the bathroom this morning, the TV I ordered for Mum and Dad arrived. It is a Toshiba 26AV615DB. I ordered it as when I put the TV on for the GP last Sunday, it was flickering. Dad said that it always did that, and sometimes changing the channel worked. It didn’t.

Up this morning for the usual Weetabix and milk. My plan was to sort all the papers that were at the apartment and also some that Tracey had brought over. I actually managed to get it all sorted whilst skyping as well!
