Yes, today is the 3 week anniversary of my repatriation to the UK. I celebrated by getting up early (well, earlier). I was down and finished my exercises by 9:30am! Nothing much occured this morning, and at 1:15pm, I went to get some food.
In Shanghai, I used to make pancakes with cheese and ham, so I thought I would make one today. The recipe for my fantastic pancakes is simple:-

Up late today. I was going to get up earlier this week, but I missed my chance in the bathroom, and so did not get up until 9:45am. I had my breakfast, did the easy sudoku, and then started on my new regime. I am doing my exercises after each meal, as I have to use my sticks to go from the table to sit down in the chair anyway, so I might as well do my exercises on the way.

I realise that I have not actually put anything in about my recovery for a while. The problem that I have is that every day is very much like the day before. There are improvements, but comparing day to day like I do, gives very little idea of how I am progressing.

Well, as the title says, it was 5 weeks ago today that I fell in the shower and broke my leg. As a celebration, I got up late.
I did pretty much nothing again this morning, however, there was a bonus with the new TV. By pushing the red button at 10am, I was able to watch the first practice of the British Grand Prix. Up this morning for the usual Weetabix and milk. My plan was to sort all the papers that were at the apartment and also some that Tracey had brought over. I actually managed to get it all sorted whilst skyping as well!

Got up early this morning to get to the hospital on time. We left home at 8:45am, and Dad dropped Mum and I off at 8:55am. My appointment was for 9:05am, so no problems. Went to the Fracture Clinic Reception desk, and my name was ticked off a list. Good stuff. We went through into the waiting room, and I was surprised to see quite a few people already there.

Up and showered this morning, and then sticked it downstairs for 8:15am.
I am preparing for tomorrows jaunt to the hospital. Yesterday afternoon, I was called with an appointment to be at the “Fracture Clinic” at 9:05am on Wednesday. I am not 100% sure what they are going to do, but, they might give me an indication as to how long I will need for recovery.
