Again, as the title says, it is 5 weeks today since the surgery. More exercises done, and hopefully closer to a full recovery. It is 3 weeks tomorrow that I go to the hospital for further X-rays to see how the bone is healing. My scar has been a bit sore today, but massaging it seems to have helped it.
I was home alone today, and so breakfast took a bit of time to take through into the dining room. I had the usual Weetabix, and drank the milk from the bottle, (no one will ever know…). I did my post breakfast exercises, and relaxed in the chair for a while. Before I knew it, it was lunch time, so I made my way to the kitchen.

Up a bit earlier to make sure that I was ready before Mum and Dad left for their short break. I was down and breakfasted by 9:45am, so a bit earlier than yesterday. Dad said that they were due to leave at 10:30am. They actually left at 10:55am. I was surprised that it was so close to the correct time! Mum was still in the shower at 10:10am…

Up late today. I was going to get up earlier this week, but I missed my chance in the bathroom, and so did not get up until 9:45am. I had my breakfast, did the easy sudoku, and then started on my new regime. I am doing my exercises after each meal, as I have to use my sticks to go from the table to sit down in the chair anyway, so I might as well do my exercises on the way.

No need to get up early today as there was no practice before the race. I got downstairs for breakfast at around 10:00am, and then did a sudoku.
Coverage started for the GP at 12:10pm, and I turned it on around 12:20pm. I have never been an avid watcher of all the pre-race stuff that goes on. I like to watch the qualifying and the race. All the punditry that goes on before and after is verbal chaff to me.

I was up and breakfasted ready to watch the final practice for the GP today. 10:00am until 11:00am on the red button. I watched it with great interest, and based on that, I changed my Fantasy Formula One team to reflect my thoughts on how the grid would line up.

Well, as the title says, it was 5 weeks ago today that I fell in the shower and broke my leg. As a celebration, I got up late.
I did pretty much nothing again this morning, however, there was a bonus with the new TV. By pushing the red button at 10am, I was able to watch the first practice of the British Grand Prix. Dad had gone out to get some clothes from Heaphies in Warwick, and came back around lunchtime. Mum then suggested that we go out for lunch to a pub in Halford.

Late up this morning. I had nothing planned for today, so there was no rush to get up. Breakfast was the usual Weetabix and milk.

I woke up and read my work emails. JJ had replied to an email that I had written. I called him after breakfast, and he said that he had replied to China, and was waiting for a response.

I was up and breakfasted by 9:45am this morning. I did the difficult Sudoku in the paper, and was ready to leave at 10:15am. Mum was ready as well (luckily, I was sat down at the time).
We set off for Rugby, and went down the Fosse Way. It was a sunny drive, and not too much traffic on the roads. I was interested to see what progress had been made on the Rugby Western Relief Road.

After the exercise I got yesterday at the field, today has been a relaxing day. Up and breakfasted by 10:10am.
I then updated my laptop to Vista SP2. This is hopefully a cure for my laptop occasionally saying that any memory stick that I put into it is “Unrecognized” (Curse those butchers of English). After a while, it sprang back to life again, and on entering Windows, nothing appeared different. I can only hope that a lot of things were done under the bonnet. However, I need to keep using my memory sticks to check that it has cured the problem. I gave it a try out by skyping Ma Yan, and nothing untoward happened, so fingers crossed.
